Our Wellness Educator program is semester-long volunteer commitment to teach cooking or gardening for 2-3 hours one day each week during the school day. The earliest years of a child’s life are essential in developing a palate for healthy whole foods. Bubble Wellness Educators bring adventure to trying new foods in weekly lessons.
Upon acceptance of your application, Bubble provides you with training, curriculum, and materials to teach our classes, while also pairing you with a co-volunteer and school that works for your schedule. Throughout this volunteer experience, Wellness Educators gain skills in: nutrition education, garden education, culinary education, public speaking, and working with children and underserved populations.
Download our Wellness Educator FAQs for more information.
Time of day and location is dependent on schedules determined with our school partners.
“I learned how to be comfortable with public speaking and teaching. Being in an environment with children allowed me to feel more comfortable doing so.”
